We’re delighted to announce that REUSE Foundation is now a registered Impact Partner with 1% For The Planet.
If you’re not familiar with it, 1% For the Planet is a brilliant global platform that helps secure and distribute business funding to environmental causes.
Businesses that sign up commit to give 1% of their annual sales to environmental organisations. Through the network, they can find – or be introduced to – groups and charities that match staff motivations, or align with what they do and where they work.
1% For the Planet was set up in 2002 by Yvon Chouinard, founder of Patagonia, and Craig Mathews, founder of Blue Ribbon Flies. Almost 25 years later, it has secured over $870 million in donations to environmental causes.
And as of now, REUSE Foundation is one of those listed on its site, making it easy to include us as one of the environmental charities your organisation supports.
If you’re already registered with 1% For the Planet, we’d love you to find out more about what we do and consider supporting our work in the future.
If your organisation hasn’t yet signed up, then take a look here to find out what’s involved, and what’s in it for you.
