📜 Rules & Eligibility
✅ Who Can Enter

Open to all students and young people aged 16–25 worldwide.

Submissions must be created by the entrant(s) — individual or group entries welcome.

Multiple enteries permitted.
-
No professional agencies or companies. This is for students, by students (or young people!).

Entry is free. No purchase, payment, or donation is required.
🎥 What to Submit

Why we need to move away from single-use plastics.

A positive, creative message that inspires others to join.

Posts must include links to reputable sources to reference any facts or statistics used.

Posts must include in the caption a short description of what inspired you and what you were hoping to acheive.

Submissions must be in English (or include English subtitles).

Suggested maximum video length: 60 seconds.

Content must be original (no copyrighted music, footage, or images you don’t own or have rights to use). Fair use provisions are accepted.

Tone: positive, inspiring, and student-friendly (no offensive, discriminatory, or harmful content or fake or misleading information).

🏆 Prizes & Selection

At least £1,000 in total prize money will be awarded (REUSE Foundation has allocated a prize pool of £1,000 and expects it to increase with donations from donors and brands, up to a limit of £5,000).

Prize money will be split: 50% first place; 30% second and 20% third.
-
One person can be awarded more than one prize.

This is a skills-based competition. A judging panel will select winners based on:

Winners will be announced on or before 30 July 2026 on REUSE Foundation's website and social media.

Provide proof of student status or eligible age to receive prize money

Confirm your entry is your original work and/or that you have permission to use any anyone featured or any content that isn't your own

Grant REUSE Foundation a non-exclusive, royalty-free right to repost, edit, and feature your entry (with credit) on our social media, website, and materials

By tagging @REUSE Foundation, you grant REUSE Foundation the right to share, repost, and feature your content (with credit to you).

All facts must be accurate and evidenced with a URL from a reputable source.

You must have permission from anyone featured in your video/photo.

Prize money will be awarded via bank transfer, PayPal, or equivalent.

Campaign organisers reserve the right to disqualify entries that break the rules.

REUSE Foundation reserves the right to not post submissions.

REUSE Foundation decisions are final.
